eCOGRA and 2 Universities Conducting Global Survey About Online Casino Players

eCOGRA, in conjunction with Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nevada, began a ground breaking project this week to conduct a global survey of online casino players including their habits, behaviors and attitudes concerning online gambling. The eCOGRA Global Online Gambling Report encourages players to speak their minds about the industry and relay their online gambling experiences.

The goal of the survey for eCOGRA is to gain a better insight into what players want and need from their online casino experience. The survey results should provide both the organizations and the online gamblers themselves a more comprehensive understanding of the industry's history and its future.

The survey is designed to cover topics like player protection, responsible gambling habits, and the part luck plays in the gambling process. It will also examine the different aspects of various casino games including poker. Players have access to the survey thru online casino operators and portals, leading software providers and eCOGRA's own website. The results of the unprecedented survey will be made available to the public in January of 2007.
